Terms of use
Last updated [date]
Items in [brackets] are filled in from admin Settings before launch. A lawyer or CA should review this text once.
These terms apply when you browse or buy on our shop, which is run by [legal name] ("Roastonic", "we"). By placing an order you agree to them. Business buyers are covered by the Roastonic for Business terms of supply.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. We deliver only within India.
Our coffee and what we say about it
We buy roasted, ground coffee from growers and traders and pack it ourselves. Each bag shows the date it was packed. Tasting notes describe flavours, not added ingredients. Photos show our packaging and may differ slightly from the bag you receive. Where a coffee contains chicory, its page and label say so.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in rupees and include GST. The total, including any shipping or cash on delivery fee, is shown before you pay. There are no hidden charges.
- You can pay by UPI, card or netbanking through Razorpay, or by cash on delivery on orders up to ₹1,500 where it's available.
- If a price shown is clearly wrong because of a mistake, we'll tell you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.
Your order
Your order is accepted when we email or text you a confirmation. A cash on delivery order is accepted once you confirm it. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if the coffee is out of stock, the address can't be served, or we suspect fraud.
Delivery, cancellations and refunds
See our Shipping and delivery policy and our Cancellation, replacement and refund policy. Both are part of these terms.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in, scrape it in bulk, or place orders you don't intend to receive. The Roastonic name, crane logo, packaging art, photos and text belong to us; you need our permission to use them.
Our responsibility
We're responsible for the coffee we sell being as described and fit to drink until its best-before date if stored as the bag says. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Beyond that, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it.
Disputes
Please contact customer care first, then our grievance officer (see Contact). These terms are governed by Indian law, and courts in [city] have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.
